Listic Slider 1.2 – Responsive Carousel and SliderVilla Add-on Compatible

We have released an update for the Listic Slider WordPress plugin. This latest version 1.2 is having lot many new features and few bug fixes. Most important features in Listic 1.2 is the responsive design so that the slider will now adjust to the browser size. You need to enable the responsive design from Listic settings page. With this new version, Listic is now compatible with the SliderVilla Add-onsTaxonomy and Post Attachments. That means, you can utilize the benefit of these add-ons on Listic Slider as well . Apart from Listic Slider, other compatible sliders are Pointelle, Roster, Thumbel and Placid. We are working on other slider plugins as well, and you may see others in compatibility list very soon.

In Listic 1.2, we have also included an option to let the external or internal links open in new window (using target=_blank) parameter. Earlier this option was only available on settings page and used to apply to all slides at once, but now we have added option on individual slides as well so that one can opt to open particular slide (useful for affiliate banners and advertisements) in new window.

Reset/Copy/Delete settings set feature is also there in this new version. That means, you can create new settings and copy the values from other settings on single click. The settings page is having a new UI to make the admin settings same as other sliders of SliderVilla.

How to update to Listic 1.2

New customers will automatically get the latest version after successful purchase, but if you have already purchased Listic Slider from SliderVilla, here is the procedure to update to the version 1.2. All updates are free to download for existing customers. All you have to do is go to the “My Downloads” page and download the Listic Slider (zip file) from there. You can also download the latest version from the receipt that you had received after the purchase.  Upload and overwrite the unzipped folder in ‘wp-content/plugins’ folder on your server and re-activate the plugin.
